SEPPmail-Mailversand an Exchange Server – Aktualisierung des Root-Zertifikats || SEPPmail Mail Delivery to Exchange Server – Root Certificate Update

Problem:
Mail delivery from SEPPmail to the Exchange Server is no longer working.

Cause:
Microsoft has recently switched to a new root certificate. The corresponding root certificate is not yet installed on the SEPPmail appliance or has not been configured as trusted.

Solution:
The new DigiCert Global Root G2 certificate must be imported on the SEPPmail appliance under X.509 Root Certificates and then configured as trusted.

The required certificate can be downloaded here:
https://cacerts.digicert.com/DigiCertGlobalRootG2.crt.pem

After importing and trusting the certificate, mail delivery from SEPPmail to the Exchange Server should work again.
