The Problem has been solved. The servers are up and running again.
As we noticed, the FortiGuard DNS servers are offline at the moment.

You can check, if the servers are responding to your DNS requests with the following windows and linux CLI command:
nslookup boll.ch 18.104.22.168
To temporary solve the issues caused by the timed out DNS requests, you can use other DNS servers on your FortiGate:
config system dns set primary 22.214.171.124 set secondary 126.96.36.199 end
Please use your preferred DNS servers for DNS resolution and replace the IP addresses listed above with your favorite DNS provider.
